About Our Swim School
Our aim at Tobruk Swim School is to provide your child with the opportunity to learn to swim in a safe, positive and friendly environment. Our staff are fully qualified, knowledgeable, and kept up to date with regular training.
Our program has been specifically designed to ensure your child successfully masters the foundations of swimming before progressing to more technical skills — building confidence every step of the way.

Infant and Toddler Levels3 months – 3 years
At this level the goal is to allow your child to explore and develop confidence in the water in a fun, nurturing environment — whilst educating parents on the basics of water safety. A parent or guardian gets in the water with their child for every class.
Pre School Levels3+ years
These classes are designed to prepare and transition the child from being in the water with a parent to without. We work on developing their confidence and love for the water whilst teaching survival and self-preservation skills. This is the base level in your child's swimming journey.
Ability Based Levels
Now that your child is confident in the water and can swim independently, it is time to work on stroke development — starting with the foundations of Freestyle and Backstroke. As your child moves through the levels, new skills and strokes are introduced while continuing to build on fundamental skills.
Marlin LevelPre Squad
This is the lead-in to Junior and Competitive Squads. Students have mastered the technique of all four competitive strokes. The focus is now on quality swimming, learning to read the pace clock, and fundamental competitive skills including starts, turns, finishes and swim terminology.
How to Register on iClassPro
New to Tobruk Swim School? Create an account on iClassPro to enrol. We will then place your child into the correct class — you don't need to choose one yourself!
1. Create your account
Download the iClassPro app (search iClassPro in the App Store or Google Play) or visit our portal online using the button below.
2. Set up your family profile
Add your details and your child's information. No need to select a class. Just get your account created!
3. We'll do the rest
Once registered, our team will place your child into the right class and confirm their day and time by email.
Important: Adding Your Direct Debit Details
When setting up your account, you must add your Direct Debit details and tick "This payment method is authorised for recurring billing" — otherwise your enrolment won't be active. Watch the short video below to see exactly how it's done.

Need a hand finding the right level?
For children with some swimming experience, a free 10-minute assessment with one of our qualified teachers is the best way to confirm the right class. Assessments are subject to teacher availability and are only necessary for children over 3 years.
Frequently Asked Questions
What level will my child be placed in?
Our team will review each child individually and place them into the right level for their ability. Not sure where they fit? Try our level finder quiz or book a free assessment. If you have any concerns please don't hesitate to reach out.
Can I choose my child's teacher?
While we cannot always guarantee a specific teacher, we will do our best to maintain consistency. If there are any changes affecting your child's class, we will contact you directly.
How do make-up lessons work?
Your child is entitled to 4 make-up lessons per year. Make-up lessons can be booked directly through the iClassPro app or portal. Please notify us in advance if your child cannot attend to be eligible.
What happens on public holidays?
Lessons will not run on public holidays. If your child has a class scheduled on a public holiday, you will automatically receive a coupon to book a make-up lesson, valid for 60 days. Make-up lessons can be booked through the iClassPro app or portal.
How do I pause my enrolment?
You can pause for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 6 weeks per year, with a holding fee of $5.00 per class per week (excludes bank fees). Pause weeks can be split across the year. For a medical pause contact us at [email protected].
How do I cancel my enrolment?
Send a written cancellation request via email to [email protected]. A 2 week notice period is required and your direct debit will continue until the notice period is completed.
